International Students Assembly

  • Represent international students

  • International students being part of the decision making process

  • More international student representation on University Boards and committees

International Students Assembly is made up of a diverse group of international students. They are concerned with being underrepresented in this and previous years of UQU.

The International Students Assembly state that domestic students get more involved in student leadership in the union as the teams running are loosely affiliated with Australian political parties. The result is that it’s often difficult to force someone to care about issues which they have not experienced. That is why we believe there is a need for an international voice in the student council.
